Melting Trouble
Very Late
“DesSert Scream!”
Peter has won a trip to Egypt.  Unfortunately, his relaxing vacation is ruined not only by the appearance of stowaway Slimer but by a screaming flaming ghost melting all the ice cream in a local factory!  Without his gear or backup, Peter must put the chill on the spook before winding up with two scoops of trouble.

“Spengler’s Spirit Guide” Part 6
Humbly documenting all the great Ghostbusters throughout history.

“Spectre of the Gun!”
A ghostly gunfighter haunts the Indiana town of Dry Gulch, claiming that he was gunned down unfairly in a gunfight.  It’s up to Ray alone to clean up that town before this rustler gets too rowdy.

“Ghost of a Chance!”
Janine’s reading of Alice In Wonderland is cut short when she sees a white rabbit-like character on the street.  She follows but only finds his wallet at the entrance to the subway.  She has a mystery on her hands that will lead her on a storybook chase of supernatural proportions and possibly save her own life.

“Slime Date!”
Janine has tickets for the movies, but unfortunately none of the guys are able to go with her.  So, what’s a girl to do to get a lively date when she spends all day with ghosts?

“Blimey!  It’s Slimer!”
You think you look scary in the mirror?  Trade places with Slimer.

Page 4-PETER: “They hate this—Who’s afraid of the big bad ghost, the big bad ghost…”
Peter also said “They hate this” leading to a musical taunt in the form of playing a couple keys on a piano while investigating Dana Barrett’s apartment in the first movie.  The song he sings is a modified version of the song “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?” from the 1934 Disney short The Big Bad Wolf.

FYI: “Spectre of the Gun!” was also featured in Marvel UK’s Real Ghostbusters #186.

FYI: “Spectre of the Gun!”
There is no such town as Dry Gulch, Indiana.

FYI: “Ghost of a Chance!”
Page 15-JANINE: “Alice thought she had problems in Wonderland…”
Janine is talking about the trilogy of books about Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.

FYI: “Slime Date!”
Page 20-PETER: “I can’t, I’m having dinner with Dana tonight.”
Dana, possibly being the Dana Barrett character from the Ghostbusters movies played by Sigourney Weaver.  Much like the beer in issue 3, this was another first for the RGB-verse as Dana was completely forgotten about in the animated series.  Dana was also mentioned in NOW’s Real Ghostbusters #1 and finally given the RGB treatment in the Ghostbusters II mini-series.
