She joins a band of freedom fighters in a battle against the Paranormal leader, Tempus, a ghost who can simultaneously exist in two separate time-planes. Separated by nearly a century, Kylie must find a way to work along with the Extreme Ghostbusters, who are battling Tempus in the present. - Title Reference: Fiction that is set in a "post apocalyptic future" revolves around events that place after a catastrophe has taken place that wipes out most of mankind and its creations. The time frame may be immediately after the catastrophe, focusing on the travails or psychology of survivors, or considerably later, often including the theme that the existence of pre-catastrophe civilization has been forgotten (or mythologized). Post-apocalyptic stories often take place in a non-technological future world, or a world where only scattered elements of technology remain. Examples of such fiction would be the movies "Mad Max" (1979) and the future scenes in "The Terminator" series of movies.
