Pixar Short Films Collection, Volume 1 Blu-ray & DVD Easter Eggs

Image

There are many websites devoted to DVD Easter Eggs, though they don't seem to have been updated in quite some time. By the time the Blu-ray format came out in the mid-2000s, the studios mostly gave up on Easter Eggs, so there aren't many on Blu-ray, but there are some. Generally, these aren't listed on the Easter Egg sites, so I thought I would list the Blu-ray Easter Eggs that I find on the discs that I own. Today, I'll show you the eggs on Pixar Short Films Collection, Volume 1.

Sneaky Burger King Coupons Change Size But Not The Price

Image

Like most fast food restaurants, Burger King offers coupons in various publications every few months. I tend to get them free with the weekly manufacturer's coupons and store circulars. Botchamania #421

Image

Botchamania is a popular video series created by Maffew Gregg (his name being a botch on "Matthew") that highlights humorous, embarrassing, and sometimes painful botches in professional wrestling. Each installment compiles clips of in-ring wrestling botches, promo bloopers, commentary slip-ups, and more from a wide variety of pro wrestling organizations. Most of the in-ring clips are muted and played with a music soundtrack, usually music from classic video games or by rock bands covering classic video game songs. In the latest episode, Botchamania #421, an NXT commentary botch I spotted was used. This was the first time I became a part of Botchamania, and I couldn't be prouder! That is something to be proud of, right?!? Read on to find out more about it...

Valley Girl (2020) Blu-ray Review

Image

Valley Girl (2020) is a film that just can't catch a break. MGM first announced a musical remake in February 2012, but it was halted until November 2016. Casting announcements continued until May 2017 and principal photography began that same month. Following the completion of filming, MGM scheduled the film for release on June 29, 2018. However, the film was delayed following controversies surrounding actor Logan Paul, who portrays Mickey. The film was then going to get a wide theatrical release in 2020, but the pandemic put the kibosh on that, forcing the studio to give it a direct-to-digital release on May 8, 2020 instead (aside from a few simultaneous drive-in screenings). Well, after all of the controversy and bad luck surrounding this film, is it any good? Read on to find out...
