Shot On Site - Zoolander Gas Station Steps From Firehouse

It's been a while since we've done a Shot on Site article here, mainly because most of the Ghostbusters filming locations have already been identified, and what remains may be near impossible to find. Today's location is a Ghostbusters location in another movie, yet is isn't a Ghostbusters location. Thanks to Matthew Jordan, as always, for noticing this.

This is a first for Spook Central's Shot on Site series. This is a Ghostbusters II location that was already identified, but I will be writing about it based on its usage in another movie - and tying it all together using images from both movies, some behind the scenes images, and the usual Google Maps images to show it in real-life. I'll talk more about him at the end of the article.

Welcome to Spook Central's special Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Celebration. Today is the second "Shot On Site" article for the month. This Ghostbusters II location, which was found by Carl Ross, is unique in that the identification was done not through anything seen in the film, but rather through personal recollection and visual reference to the building across the street.
