This Ain't Ghostbusters XXX - Revised Cast, Stills, Trailer, Specs, Release Date

The folks at Hustler Video have just released a whole bunch of information and multimedia for their upcoming release This Ain't Ghostbusters XXX, which is due out May 17th on 3D Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack.

As you can see in the above advertisement, the cover art has been changed since we last saw it. The new front cover art is reminiscent of the Ghostbusters: The Video Game cover art with green-glowing ghosts flanking the logo with the 'busters in front of it at the bottom. The totally NOT Safe For Work back cover (which contains sexual imagery) gives us the rundown of what we'll find inside the combo pack. (Anaglyph 3D is the old format with the red-and-blue glasses.)


The movie's teaser trailer has been released, and it's pretty much safe for work - no nudity, no sex (save for the cartoon breasts on the logo and the large stone schlong on the CGI gargoyle at the end) - but there are a few dirty words in the knock-off song that plays throughout. You'll hear MUCH worse language in any R&B or Rap song these days, but I just thought I should give a warning. [UPDATE: What appears below is the complete teaser trailer, which I ripped from the Hustler Video Sizzle Reel DVD I was sent at the end of May 2011. This includes a few extra shots at the beginning and end which were not present in the teaser trailer that was released online, which originally appeared below.]


Yes, that is Ghostbusters extra, and adult film legend, Ron Jeremy as the librarian at the beginning. I wonder if his casting in the film was intentional because of his appearance in the legit Ghostbusters film, or if it's a fantastic coincidence. Anyway, Ron isn't the only change in the cast list since it was first reported back in February. The 1950's MILF Monster (this movie's substitute for Mr. Stay Puft, apparently) is now played by Joslyn James, and not the previously-mentioned Lisa Ann. Here's the updated cast headshots I put together using the official images Hustler gave out.


Hustler gave out over 300 high-resolution still images from the production. Most of them feature nudity or sexual intercourse, but the remaining 90 are suitable for use on this site. There are a few in which I censored out the nudity because I needed to include those images to either show a scene pairing or to better show one of the actors (there were no shots of Gozer's costume without her breasts being visible).

Looking over the photo sets Hustler provided, there will only be five sex scenes with these pairings:

Having now seen the teaser trailer and still images, I got a pretty good idea what the film will be like. It looks a LOT better than I thought it would. As I watched the teaser, I was smiling and laughing throughout. It looks like a fun little movie. It definitely shows that the filmmaker's studied - who says they never study? - the first film to get the overall look just right. Sure, it's not *exactly* the same, but if it were, they probably couldn't call it a parody. Only two things really disappoint me.

1. They went low-cost on certain locations and effects by doing them as CGI and green-screen. The ballroom is clearly green-screen, the Erecto-1 and firehouse exterior are both CGI, the hotel exterior is a still photo with a CGI car over it, and the cards flying out of the drawers is CGI. The car is probably the biggest disappointment. Couldn't they find a fan to lend them an Ecto? Since the LA firehouse was used in the adult movie "Flashpoint" 14 years ago, it would have been a nice touch for them to use it in this movie. I wonder if they tried and were turned down. Still, at least they used a still photo of the actual Biltmore Hotel for the hotel exterior shot, so that proves that they DID study :-)

2. The sex scene pairings I noted above simply do not cover all of the possibilities that the film provides. Where's Dana & Louis? That one is so obvious. Where's Gozer in a Ghostbusters Gangbang with the four guys? Talk about an epic finale; especially if they cross streams! Where's the Dream Ghost & Ray? Heck, there isn't even a Dream Ghost character in the parody movie, and that was the most obvious sexual connection in the whole original movie! She gave lucky Ray a blowjob, for cryin' out loud. How could you NOT translate that to a porn parody of the film?!? If you want to go a little deeper - "Deep Inside Dana" is Hustler's planned sequel - you could pair up the blonde at the party with Louis. Go a little deeper still and pair up one or more of the three original Ghostbusters with the real estate lady. Who says she can't be a pretty young thing? The possibilities are limitless. Hey, Dean Yeager.

Anyway, let me wrap this up with a quick look at the film's new versions of the No Ghost logo. First is the logo used in the film itself, which is virtually identical to the real thing, except for primarily the mouth.


Second is the logo used in promotional materials, including the box cover. This is the best Mrs. No Ghost logo I've seen so far, though I only have the Sexbusters DVD cover logo to compare it to.
