You're love
Lifting me higher
Than I've ever
Been lifted before
So keep it up
Quench my desire
And I'll be at your side
For evermore

CHORUS:
You know you love
Your love keeps lifting me
Keep on lifting me
Love keeps lifting me
Higher
Lifting me
Higher and higher
Higher

CHORUS #2:
I said you're love
You're love keeps lifting me
Keep on
Love keeps lifting me
Lifting me
Higher and higher
Higher

Now once
I was down-hearted
Disapointment
Was my closest friend

Then came you
And it soon departed
You know that it never
Showed it's face again

CHORUS

CHORUS #2

Lift me up woman

Keep on lifting me
Higher and higher

I'm so glad
I finally found you
Just that one
In a million girl

And I will
My loving arms around you
Honey, I can stand up
And face the world

CHORUS

CHORUS #2

I said you're love

Oh, Yeah!

CHORUS x3

Where in the Movie?

If Flesh'n' Blood is the hardest song to spot Higher & Higher is surely the easiest

Ghostbusters II Movie Screenshot (3K)

The song is first heard when Ray & Egon shows the power of the Slime using a toester to Peter. Egon turn on a Disc player with Higher and Higher

The great moment of this song come during the Libby's Ride. The music plays all along, with high volume.

Note that the in the lab the song is played by Jackie Wilson

Howard Huntsberry

Howard Huntsberry (4K)

Howard Huntsberry never scored as a solo singer, but turned in some excellent performances while the lead vocalist of Klique, an '80s trio that also included his sister Deborah Hunter and Isaac Suthers. Their finest number was a cover of Jackie Wilson's "Stop Doggin' Me Around" in 1983. Huntsberry's rendition was so similar to Wilson's that there was talk for several years afterward about him portraying Wilson in a big screen film that never materialized. Klique recorded for MCA from 1981 to 1985, getting one other Top 20 hit with "A Woman, A Lover, A Friend" in '85.
