Ooh, see the danger signs
Sneaking up from behind
Sort of like it's telling you what to say
Looks like you've lost control
Something growing on your soul
See it coming from a mile away

Savin' the day
Savin' the day
When you're getting to the point
where it's driving you insane

Savin' the day
Savin' the day

You seem a little strange
Something about you not the same
Nowhere to hide from the feeling
running through my veins
It was the frightening truth
That way just ain't no youth
Baby, you got the will, you got the way

Savin' the day
Savin' the day
Speak of the past, they slip in the back way

Savin' the day
Savin' the day
When it's getting to the point
where it's driving you insane

Savin' the day
Savin' the day
When you're getting
to the point where it's driving you insane

When it starts to pour
and the whole thing's out of control

And you can't run away
if you don't know where to go

Don't know, don't know
You can't leave it till tomorrow
You can't leave it till tomorrow
Don't know, don't know
In the dance with Stay-Puft you gotta have
it 'fore you're surrendering

Savin' the day
Savin' the day
Speak of the past,
they slip in the back way
Savin' the day
Savin' the day
Ooh, when it's getting to the point
where it's driving you insane

Savin' the day
You can't wait, you can't wait until tomorrow
Savin' the day
You can't wait, you can't wait until tomorrow

Savin' the day
You can't wait
Savin' the day
You can't wait, you can't wait until tomorrow

Choose the form of the destructor!

It's known that one of the most successful moments of the movie is the Staypuft Marshmallow Man Grand Entrance. Something that is less known , at least to the non-ghostheds, is that the arrival of such a scene is often announced in the movie

  • Dana put a pack of Marshmallow in the kitchen's table just before the "Zuul!" in the fridge scene
  • A Marshmallow advertising panel is positioned near the firehouse
  • Some military convoy has melted marshmallow on them (an error by Reitman)

However,if you take a look at the Lyrics of Savin The Day it reads:

"In the dance with Stay-Puft you gotta have it 'fore you're surrendering"

another recall to scene ,unfourtunately this part does not play some 15 minutes before it actually happen in the movie.

The Alessi Brothers
(Billy & Bobby)

After making his debut on the stage in 1969, Billy left Broadway to form Barnaby Bye, a popular rock group whose two Atlantic LPs gained nationwide attention in 1971. But Billy had bigger things in mind, and in 1974 he formed the Alessi Brothers with twin sibling Bobby. From 1974 to 1980, the Alessi Brothers ruled international pop radio. Sparked by their beautiful harmonies and infectious melodies, the brothers' five A&M albums won them international acclaim and hit songs in 34 countries. In demand, Billy recorded with Barbra Streisand, Art Garfunkel and Christopher Cross, wrote hits for Olivia Newton-John, Frankie Valli, Peter Frampton and Donna Summer and an Alessi tune was featured on the double-platinum Ghostbusters soundtrack LP. Having done it all in pop music, Billy in 1983 joined boyhood friend Joey Levine at Crushing Enterprises and launched a successful career in jingles. His ear for hits has brought us such advertising classics as "Just For The Taste Of It (Diet Coke)" and "Nothing Beats A Bud," just to name a few.
